Kevin is the Global Labs Director for FaithTech. Having arrived in Canada from the UK in January 2018, Kevin has a background in running a Web Design Business with his wife Ellie, Church ministry as a Worship Pastor including a plant in North Toronto, and as a currency analytics consultant into Health Services in the UK. He is passionate to see God blurring the boundaries in peoples’ lives across their faith, vocations, and work. Kevin is married to Ellie, with two young children, currently living in Guelph, ON.

Kevin Kim is the Executive Director of Crazy Love, co-founder of faith-based technology organization Basil Tech, co-founder of a startup called Common Coin, and an elder and pastor at We Are Church. He grew up near Richmond, Virginia and received his B.A in Biology from the University of Virginia. He went to seminary near Philadelphia and received a M.Div from Biblical Theological Seminary. In 2007 he moved to Northern California to join the staff at Menlo Church where he served in different roles including Campus Pastor, Teaching Pastor, and Director of Innovation. He also had the unique privilege of working with Gary Hamel and IDEO on a 2-year project called Catalyst, which was a project designed to help the church think and be more innovative in its mission and ministry. He is currently working on an exciting project called Read Scripture which you can download in the App Store and Google Play. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and his 3 children--Karis, Ellie and Isaiah.

Mun-Wai is the principal consultant at MunWai Consulting and organizer at Business Agility Institute in San Francisco Bay Area. She has been on the Agile journey for more than 20 years. She started in engineering, went into Product Management, and was the Chief of Staff at RingCentral before becoming a business agility consultant and leadership coach. She frequently speaks at international Agile, Lean conferences and meetups on the topics of Leadership, Agile HR & Modern Talent Development Practices, Remote & Distributed Agile and more.

A professional facilitator, coach, and cofounder of the Seeds Global Innovation Lab, Mary is dedicated to equipping individuals and organizations with the language and skills they need to develop their creativity and innovation. Trained as a registered nurse and certified through MIT Emeritus’ Mastering Design Thinking program, she has unique and invaluable insight into humanity’s physical and creative capabilities. As such, Mary has made it her mission to transform groups and individuals through designed facilitation and coaching for collaboration, clarity, and increased engagement.

Paul Taylor has served as a Pastor at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, CA in the heart of Silicon Valley since 2007 and is the founder of AllThingsNew.Tech. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and worked for Oracle Corporation as a Senior Product Manager designing software solutions. He is married to Rachel and has five teenage children. He feels convicted to help Christians engage thoughtfully with technology in light of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

Hailing from a small town in Northern Ontario, Scott studied Mechatronics Engineering at the Univeristy of Waterloo. He now lives in Kitchener with his wife and two sons.

Scott has been a volunteer with FaithTech from the beginning. From his first Christian hackathon in 2016, he was hooked. His proudest accomplishment has been working alongside Rob to help build ShareBibles.

Matthew is the co-founder of Basil Tech, a non-profit that mobilizes volunteer developers and designers to work on Kingdom projects. They’ve been blessed with opportunities to work on internal projects like ReadScripture and ScriptureLabs and serve ministries around the world like Crazylove, YWAM, IJM, IMB, OM and more. Empowered by the Spirit, Matt partners with the work that God is doing, utilizing everything from Figma designs to React components to Cronjobs. Matt lives to see it all redeemed for God’s glory.

Trip Nine is a field sales engineer for CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company based in Silicon Valley. In addition to his day job, he leads Ekballo University; an organization that teaches, trains, and equips the global church in digital evangelism. His hobbies include working on technical innovations both in cybersecurity and within the world of missions. Trip and his family live in the greater Boston area of the US.

Jaya leads Upstream, a network of Pioneers, to connect technologists with church planting efforts among unreached people groups. As a mobile app developer, she helps organize teams to build effective tools that missionaries can use for sharing the gospel where language, isolation, internet access, and security present unique challenges.
